What another company quoted the year before for the same display
This customer had looked into holiday lighting the previous year with another company, and the quote came back at almost twice what we charged for the job.
Our holiday lighting works as a package rather than a one-off install. The customer buys the product from us at the start, and after that we install it, take it down, and store it for them every year. Installation happens before Thanksgiving, the lights go on the Monday after, and they come down in the second or third week of January.
Everything then goes into a climate controlled warehouse, labelled to each individual customer, so nothing is lost between seasons and the same display goes back up the following November. We do not store product at customers' properties.
The lights are warranted for the whole of the first season and for the second season's installation. On average a display lasts around five years, by which point most people are looking to change the design anyway.
